Nicolas Mercier was born in Montreal, Canada and was drawn at a very young age to the culinary art, thanks to his mother and her passion for cooking. After climbing the ladder in the restaurant business, he opened with two associates his first restaurant in Quebec City when he was 23 years old. A second will soon follow in 1992. After 10 years of success, he decided to sell his partnership and move to Naples, Florida with his wife and business partner Nathalie Savoie. Mostly self-taught, he had the chance to work with many great chefs and learned from them. But his success is mostly due to his love for cooking, a great sense of perfection and a refined taste. He lives in Naples with his wife, Nathalie and his two kids. His food is uniquely tasty and has a lot of personality.
